Rick Lemos grew up in Belmont, California and has lived in the surrounding cities in the bay area his entire career. He graduated from Serra High School in San Mateo, and 4 years later received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.

After graduation, Rick decided to become part of the family business and started working at A. L. Lemos Company in San Francisco, which his grandfather started back in 1934. He helped incorporate the business in 1979, and became a partner in 1983.

While working at the family business, Rick also had a passion for Real Estate. He bought and sold real estate investments as a side business, and in 2003 elected to change his career to Real Estate full time.

After getting his Calif. Real Estate License in October of 2004, Rick investigated pursuing residential real estate as well as other areas of his liking. He decided that investment real estate was the most exciting to him, and found a company in Redwood City where he was trained in the concept of rolling over IRA and 401K funds to help clients self-direct their investments within their retirement accounts into Real Estate. He was promoted to sales manager in 2006 and gained further knowledge on Roth IRA, Roth 401k, and 401k/LLC tax advantaged investing with these accounts. He decided to enhance his training on more complex transactions by attending an advanced training course by the Tax Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 2007, Rick and two partners formed Pacific Core Investments, LLC in San Carlos, California. The business was formed to provide clients advanced knowledge on alternative investments to Wall Street products, including real estate, private equity, and other privately funded investments.

Rick lives in Atherton, California with his wife Michelle. He has a daughter 30, two sons 26 and 25, and two grandchildren.
