Ms. Marston founded The Foresthill Group, Inc. in 2004 to expand her investments in real estate and offer services/opportunities to fellow investors. As cheif executive officer, she provides overall strategic guidance for the company’s investments, meets and advises investors, and participates in the organization’s management and development of core competencies. Ms. Marston started investing in California real estate in 1999 and soon started researching and investing in various markets around the country. She has been very successful and to date holds and manages millions of dollars in real estate assets.

After meeting Loral Langemeier and joining her Big Table (Table 38) she learned the importance of building a strong team in other markets and making sure your real estate strategy fits the current real estate market. She has taken that philosophy along with her wealth of experience, knowledge in several different investment strategies, asset protection, building a business and has started coaching others about building a strong foundation, manage, protect and continue to grow your wealth.

She currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and has owned and managed several successful businesses over the past decade. She is also an active member of Capital City Wealth Builders and various other real estate investment organizations.

Mr. Van Rooyen is a co-founder of The Foresthill Group, Inc. and has worked in the high-tech sector since 1985. He holds a Masters in Computer Science and a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering as well as several technology patents. He has been a key contributor in a variety of companies ranging from small startups to large fortune 500 companies. In addition to software and hardware engineering, he is a musician and has a strong background in graphics, animation, audio/video production, critical writing, and marketing materials. Mr. Van Rooyen has delivered and maintained countless information technology solutions in multiple settings that include marketing, finance, and engineering. His highly developed analytical skills are used to determine the viability of various investment opportunities and is directly involved in the strategic direction of the company.

Rick Lemos grew up in Belmont, California and has lived in the surrounding cities in the bay area his entire career. He graduated from Serra High School in San Mateo, and 4 years later received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.

After graduation, Rick decided to become part of the family business and started working at A. L. Lemos Company in San Francisco, which his grandfather started back in 1934. He helped incorporate the business in 1979, and became a partner in 1983.

While working at the family business, Rick also had a passion for Real Estate. He bought and sold real estate investments as a side business, and in 2003 elected to change his career to Real Estate full time.

After getting his Calif. Real Estate License in October of 2004, Rick investigated pursuing residential real estate as well as other areas of his liking. He decided that investment real estate was the most exciting to him, and found a company in Redwood City where he was trained in the concept of rolling over IRA and 401K funds to help clients self-direct their investments within their retirement accounts into Real Estate. He was promoted to sales manager in 2006 and gained further knowledge on Roth IRA, Roth 401k, and 401k/LLC tax advantaged investing with these accounts. He decided to enhance his training on more complex transactions by attending an advanced training course by the Tax Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 2007, Rick and two partners formed Pacific Core Investments, LLC in San Carlos, California. The business was formed to provide clients advanced knowledge on alternative investments to Wall Street products, including real estate, private equity, and other privately funded investments.

Rick lives in Atherton, California with his wife Michelle. He has a daughter 30, two sons 26 and 25, and two grandchildren.

Utilizing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication, extensive experience in event and convention planning, along with trade shows and new product presentations, Mrs. Marston brings a diverse marketing and event planning background to organizations. She has developed programs for seminars, conventions and special events in both the corporate and non-profit areas for groups from 50 to 1,000. Knowing the importance of targeting the right audience and event evaluation, Mrs. Marston brings a proficiency in market research and outcome evaluation to our events. Having been a presenter at events, Mrs. Marston is also familiar with speaker qualifications, contracts, and appearances. She is a member of the American Association of University Women (California Program Committee), Soroptimist International of the Americas (Sacramento North), National Association of Parliamentarians, and many other professional organizations at the local, state, and national level.

Cory, Vice President of Income Homes, has a deep understanding of East Bay Real Estate. She has lived in the area for over 20 years and has experienced the many changes in the market.

Working with appraisers, having a complete understanding of the MLS, studying auction houses, working closely with title companies and asset mangers, has allowed her to select the best homes for investing and determining their  true market value. As an investor herself, she knows what other investors are looking for in a property so that it will enhance their overall portfolio.
